Download Iphoto For Mac Snow Leopard

Previously I used Iphoto to import pics from my Canon camera. After installing Snow Leopard, I can no longer import photos. My camera only shows up if I have Iphoto open. Iphoto shows all my pics on my camera, but doesn't even let me click on 'import photos.' If I select a photo or photos and drag them into a folder in Iphoto, it will say 'importing' but never actually does it. Now when I try to quit or do anything a box pops up and says 'photos are being imported to the photo library, please wait for import to complete.' Help!

When you re-installed, did you delete the receipts first?
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only..’
If that doesn't help:
Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If that doesn't help:
Post the Crash Log.
It's at Home / Library / Logs / Crash-Reporter / iphoto.crash.log
Double click on the file and it will open in the Console. Copy and Paste it in here.
